Overview
'Couple Energy' is a 7-card spread by Sarah Bartlett that can be done alone or together with a partner. Its distinctive feature — the 7th card is not drawn randomly like the first six. This card — a Major Arcana — is calculated by summing the numerical values of the six previous cards. It represents the combined energy of your couple. The left column (1, 3, 5) — your feelings, desires, and regrets, the right (2, 4, 6) — your partner's feelings, desires, and regrets.

How to Read
Shuffle the deck while focusing on your relationship. Draw 6 cards and lay them out: cards 1, 3, 5 on the left (your feelings, desires, regrets), cards 2, 4, 6 on the right (partner's feelings, desires, regrets). For the 7th card, sum the numerical values of all six drawn cards and find the corresponding Major Arcana. If the sum exceeds 22 — sum the digits again. Card 7 is placed at the top — it is the combined energy of the couple. Compare pairs: 1–4 (feelings), 2–5 (desires), 3–6 (regrets).
Tips & Advice
The uniqueness of this spread lies in the calculated 7th card. It is not random but a mathematical expression of your couple's energy. Compare horizontal pairs: if cards 1 and 4 (feelings) harmonize — you feel the same. If cards 2 and 5 (desires) align — you want the same things. If cards 3 and 6 (regrets) are similar — you regret the same things. The spread can be done together with your partner: each draws their own 3 cards.
