Prospects and Goal

12 cards

Category: Career & Profession

Analysis of career prospects and the path toward your professional goal.

Overview

Sumerechnaya's spread. It is used when the client wants to learn about the prospects of their work. Twelve cards are laid out in a 4x3 grid, where each horizontal row is responsible for a specific aspect of work (working conditions, salary, team relations, career advancement), and each vertical column represents a time period (near future, later future, most distant future). This structure allows one to see the dynamics of changes for each aspect of work over time.

How to Read

Shuffle the deck while focusing on work prospects. Draw 12 cards and lay them out in a 4x3 grid: top row -- cards 1, 2, 3 (working conditions), second row -- 4, 5, 6 (salary), third row -- 7, 8, 9 (team relations), bottom row -- 10, 11, 12 (career advancement). The spread is read in two ways: horizontally -- the dynamics of each aspect over time (left to right: near, medium, distant future), and vertically -- all aspects of work in a specific period.

Tips & Advice

The main advantage of this spread is the ability to read it in two directions. Horizontally you see how each aspect (conditions, salary, team, career) changes over time. Vertically -- the full picture of a specific period. Compare the first column (1, 4, 7, 10) with the third (3, 6, 9, 12): if the latter is significantly better -- prospects are encouraging, patience is worthwhile. Pay attention to diagonals: if cards 1, 5, 9 or 4, 8, 12 form a trend -- this shows a hidden interconnection between different aspects of work. A negative third column is a serious signal to consider changing jobs.
