This policy explains which cookies and which other storage technologies are used on tarotalyze.com, why they are used, how long they are kept and how you control them. The site is operated by Antreprenor Independent „ALEXANDR OGLAȘEVICI” (individual entrepreneur), IDNO 1026023000934, registered on 07.01.2026, mun. Chișinău, Republic of Moldova. Our contact address is [email protected]; questions about cookies are answered there as well. This form of business has no registered legal address recorded in the State Register, which is why we give no street: we do not publish details we cannot confirm against the register. Email is the official channel of communication. This policy supplements the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service. It applies to every page of www.tarotalyze.com, in all three languages of the site.

A cookie is a small text file that a site asks your browser to keep, and which the browser sends back with every request to that site. A "session" cookie is deleted when you close the browser; a "persistent" one stays until its expiry date or until you delete it. Modern browsers, however, offer two further stores, and we use them more than we use cookies — so we describe all of them here, even though this document is called, by habit, a cookie policy: • localStorage — stays in your browser until you clear it and, unlike a cookie, is not sent to the server automatically with every request; • sessionStorage — is cleared automatically when you close the tab. The difference matters to you in two ways: what leaves your device on its own (only cookies do that), and how it is deleted (your browser setting has to target "site data", not only "cookies").

These cannot be declined: without them you cannot sign in, we cannot remember your language, and we could not even remember your refusal. There are three strictly necessary items. • NEXT_LOCALE — the only real cookie we set ourselves. It holds nothing but the chosen language: en, ru or ro. It carries SameSite=Lax and the path "/", and no expiry date is set for it — so it is a session cookie, which your browser deletes when it closes. It is what takes you to your own language when you open an address with no language prefix. • sb-…-auth-token — kept in localStorage, not in a cookie (the middle part of the name is the identifier of our database, filled in by the Supabase library). It appears only after you sign in and holds your session token, renewed automatically. Without it you would be signed out on every page. It disappears when you sign out or clear the site's data. • cookie_consent — also kept in localStorage, holding a single word: accepted or declined. It is your answer to the consent banner itself. We keep it whichever way you answered, because otherwise the banner would reappear on every visit and your refusal would not be honoured. So that this list cannot be read as narrower than it is: besides these three, the site places one further item in your browser — a functional one, described in section 4 — and, after you consent, the advertising network sets its own cookies (section 5). Together those three sections are the complete inventory. We write nothing else: our code contains not a single use of document.cookie, and no form on the site saves what you type into it. The lifetime of each item is collected in section 10.

One item falls into this category. • topic-view:<topic address> — kept in sessionStorage and living until you close the tab. It is the mark "this tab has already counted a view of this topic"; technically it holds the view count the server returned, so that the same reading is not counted twice in the same tab and so that we can show you an up-to-date number. It is an optimisation, not a permission: duplicates are discarded on the server in any case, and if your browser forbids storage the only consequence is that the request is sent a second time. We also state what is not saved: the data you type into the free numerology calculators and the Su Jok pages — your date of birth, a name — is not written by us into cookies, into localStorage or into sessionStorage.

On public content pages we show advertising through the Yandex Advertising Network (Yandex LLC). The advertising cookies are set by that network, on its own domains, not by us. It is the only third party that sets cookies because of our site. The rule we follow is opt-in, and this is the part that matters: until you press "Accept" in the consent banner, the advertising network's script is not requested at all. Not requested and blocked, not requested and ignored — simply not downloaded, so it cannot place anything. An unanswered banner counts as a refusal. We checked why that matters: a single download of that script sets six identifying cookies — yandexuid, i, pi, pu, yashr, bh — before any advertisement is displayed, with expiry dates reaching into 2028. The exact list is decided by Yandex and may change; their use is governed by Yandex's own policy. Advertising appears only where people read: tarot card pages, spread diagrams (/tarot/spreads), tarot articles, numerology interpretations, arcana and charts, Su Jok material and topics written by users. It never appears — and its cookies are never set — in your account, in your history, on your reading page (/tarot/reading), in the reading builder, on the payment page, at sign-in, or in the topic form. We pass the advertising network neither your email address, nor your reading history, nor your credit balance. It receives only what your browser sends it directly when an advertisement loads.

We have no tracking or profiling systems, and we set no analytics cookies: no Google Analytics, no Yandex Metrica, no social-network pixels, no audience counter of our own. We show no Google advertising, and there is no longer a single Google tag of any kind on the pages of this site. One measurement does run, however, and naming it is more honest than writing "we use no analytics" and staying silent about it. Every page includes Vercel Speed Insights — an anonymous measurement of loading speed. It reports to our hosting provider the address of the page you opened, its speed figures, the type of your connection and the type of navigation. It sets no cookies and writes nothing into your browser — neither into localStorage nor into sessionStorage; we verified this in the script that is actually served to visitors. It therefore cannot recognise you on your next visit, builds no profile, and links nothing to your account. The script is served from our own domain, and the measurements go to the same place. We do not sell or rent your data, and we build no advertising profile out of what you read here. This is not merely a promise. Our server sends a Content Security Policy that permits scripts to run only from our own domain and from the Yandex advertising domains named in it. Any other third-party script is blocked by the browser, however it might find its way onto the page.

On your first visit, while no answer is stored, a banner appears at the bottom of the page with three actions: "Accept", "Decline" and the close button. The banner says the same thing this policy says: we use cookies to show advertising on public pages; we run no analytics and no tracking. • "Accept" means advertising cookies are permitted. Advertisements appear at once, with no page reload. • "Decline" and the close button do exactly the same thing: refuse. Dismissing without choosing is read as refusal, because that is the safe reading for you, and until you answer nothing advertising-related is loaded. Your answer is saved in the browser where you gave it. In another browser, on another device, or in a private window you will be asked again, because your answer does not exist there. Refusing limits nothing: every page, calculator and reading works exactly the same.

We will tell you plainly how things stand today: the site has no "change your cookie choice" button — neither in the footer nor in your account settings. We do not describe a button that does not exist. When one appears, this section will be rewritten. Today consent is withdrawn like this: open your browser settings, find the section for site data, select www.tarotalyze.com and clear that site's data. This deletes the cookie_consent value, and on your next visit the banner appears again so that you can answer differently. Step-by-step directions for the four common browsers are in section 9. Until you do that, an "Accept" you have already given stays in force and advertisements keep being shown — that is the whole reason we describe the real path rather than a convenient one. Note one consequence: the same clearing also removes your session token, meaning you will be signed out. Your account, credits, readings and topics are untouched — you simply sign in again. Cookies already set by the advertising network live on Yandex domains and are deleted from your browser's cookie settings, independently of our site. Every browser lets you block, delete or limit cookies and local storage. In the settings, look for the section about "site data", not only about "cookies" — localStorage and sessionStorage are cleared by the former and not always by the latter. • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies / Site data. • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data. • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions. You can clear the data for this site alone, leaving every other site untouched. One predictable effect is worth stating: if you block cookies and local storage entirely, signing in will stop working, your language will not be remembered, and the consent banner will reappear on every visit — not because we ignore your answer, but because the browser does not let it be saved.

• NEXT_LOCALE — until you close the browser; no expiry date is set for it. • sb-…-auth-token — until you sign out or clear the site data. The token itself is short-lived and is renewed automatically while you stay signed in. • cookie_consent — until you clear the site data. It does not expire on its own, because it is your answer. • topic-view:<topic address> — until you close the tab. • Yandex Advertising Network cookies — their terms are set by Yandex; when we checked, they reached into 2028. They are deleted from your browser settings. • The page-speed measurement (section 6) stores nothing in your browser, so it has no term at all. We do not extend or renew any of these terms outside the ordinary use of the site.

• The Yandex Advertising Network (Yandex LLC) — advertising cookies, only after you have accepted, on the pages listed in section 5. It is the only party in this list that sets anything. • Supabase — the provider of our database, of authentication and of file storage (avatars, images inside topics), hosted in the European Union. Your session is kept by us in localStorage rather than in a cookie; requests to this provider's addresses are needed to display images and to sign you in. • Payment providers — payment does not happen on our site. We redirect you to the secure page of the provider you are paying through, and any cookie set there belongs to that provider and is governed by its own policy. We neither set it nor can read it. The providers we currently work with are listed in the Terms of Service, in the section on payment methods; adding a new provider changes nothing in this policy. The remaining providers we rely on — Vercel for hosting the site and for the anonymous page-speed measurement described in section 6, and the providers of the programming interface, of transactional email and of the artificial intelligence that generates the readings — set no cookies in your browser. Their roles are described in the Privacy Policy.

We process cookie-related data under Law no. 195/2024 on the protection of personal data, in force since 23 August 2026, and under Law no. 284/2004 on electronic commerce, which requires us to give you easy, direct and permanent access to our identification details. • For advertising cookies the basis is your consent — given through the banner and withdrawn as described in section 8. • For the strictly necessary items the basis is the delivery of the service you asked for: without them signing in and choosing a language cannot work. • The page-speed measurement asks for no consent because it accesses no storage on your device and identifies no one: it neither reads nor writes cookies or local storage, which is precisely the condition under which consent is not required. Consent given for advertising entails a transfer outside the Republic of Moldova: the Yandex Advertising Network is operated by a company in the Russian Federation, and it receives, directly from your browser, the address of the page you are on, your IP address and the identifiers from its own cookies. If you refuse, that transfer does not take place, because the network's script is never downloaded. Our other providers are located in the European Union, the United States and the Republic of Moldova; they are listed by name in the Privacy Policy, each with its role.

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, to learn what data we hold about you, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and to object to processing. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. For any request, write to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days at the latest. We update this policy whenever what it describes changes: a new category of cookies, a new provider, or the disappearance of one of the items listed above. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page. If a change introduces new processing that needs your consent, we do not rely on your having read this page: we ask for your consent again, through the banner. Continued use of the site is not treated as agreement to new advertising cookies.

This policy is drawn up in Romanian, and the Romanian version is the official one. The Russian and English translations are provided for your convenience. In the event of any discrepancy between the versions, the Romanian text prevails.
