The twenty-second arcanum is the heaviest in the set, and it has to do with a continuation of the lineage that never took place — with a line that could have gone further and was cut short.
In the present life this reads as difficulty with continuation in the broad sense: children come late or do not come, the bond with them is hard to build, and a feeling appears that "it all ends with me".
What counts as working it off: continuation. Children of your own, adopted children, children taken into guardianship — and passing on what you know how to do to those who are younger. A lineage is continued by more than blood, and the node closes when someone is left after the person, someone to whom they managed to pass something on.
*The node indicates an area, it does not pass a sentence: a birth date makes nobody guilty. Decisions about children remain personal, and questions of conception and childbirth are settled with a doctor.*
