The November task is to pass on a craft. Something was known in the lineage, and that skill did not arrive: it was not handed on, nobody wanted to take it, there was not time.
A November person is called to restore the passing on. Not necessarily that very occupation — what matters is that they carry something through to mastery themselves and teach it to others. Children, pupils, the younger members of the family, colleagues — the circle is not fixed.
The particular feature of this task is that possessing the skill is not enough. A master who has passed nothing on has not fulfilled it, however strong they may have been.
It is fulfilled when somebody can do what they learned from that person.
