Spread Diagram
Overview
A simple and precise spread for evaluating a new acquaintance. Helps quickly understand who is in front of you, what this person's intentions are, and where the interaction may lead.
Card Positions
How to Read
Shuffle the deck while thinking about the new acquaintance. Draw 5 cards. Card 1 at the top — who this person is. Cards 2 and 3 below — intentions and where it leads. Cards 4 and 5 at the bottom — advice and result. Read top to bottom: first the portrait (1), then intentions and prospects (2–3), then advice and outcome (4–5).
Tips & Advice
The spread is compact and quick — ideal for a first impression. Card 1 gives a general portrait: the suit hints at the character's element, and the meaning — the key trait. Compare cards 2 and 3: if intentions are good but the outcome is bad — something will go wrong along the way. Card 4 is specific advice: what to do or what to avoid. If all cards are positive — the acquaintance is worth developing.
