The twentieth arcanum is born for the lineage and the family: to strengthen the ties, to gather its own people together, to hold the line.

And yet such people often find themselves pushed out of their own circle — they leave early, grow up far from their relatives, pass through an estrangement they did not choose. That is precisely what makes their task visible: to come back and to gather.

The strength is faithfulness. The twentieth arcanum does not abandon its own, even when it was itself abandoned once.

The weakness is idealising the family. They will put up with things from relatives that they would not put up with from anybody else, and they do not always see where the patience has stopped helping.

Day arcanum — character

Day arcanum = DT

The day of birth is the main part of the date. It is responsible for character and for what childhood was like, and along with that — for the past incarnation and for what a person brings out of it: inclinations, a craft, an attitude to work.

It is read as a general frame — much the way a zodiac sign is read in astrology: it describes a tendency, not the whole person. Character is made up of many numbers, and no one of them cancels out the rest.

The same arcanum can come from different days: for those born on the 1st and on the 23rd it coincides (23 − 22 = 1), but their ruling planets are different, and that shows in the character.

This is the positive part of the calculation — what a person starts from and can lean on, not a list of their limitations.
