The third arcanum is about creation. Such a person does not so much carry things out as bring them into being: plans, undertakings, the people around them.

They know how to inspire and do it naturally — beside them, other people find strength and ideas. Hence a particular role in any group: they need not be in charge, but nothing gets started without them.

An important trait is fruitfulness in the broad sense. The third arcanum needs something to grow out of its taking part: a child, a business, a school, a direction.

The weak point is that they find it hard to stop. What has been created needs tending, and they are already drawn towards the next thing.

Day arcanum — character

Day arcanum = DT

The day of birth is the main part of the date. It is responsible for character and for what childhood was like, and along with that — for the past incarnation and for what a person brings out of it: inclinations, a craft, an attitude to work.

It is read as a general frame — much the way a zodiac sign is read in astrology: it describes a tendency, not the whole person. Character is made up of many numbers, and no one of them cancels out the rest.

The same arcanum can come from different days: for those born on the 1st and on the 23rd it coincides (23 − 22 = 1), but their ruling planets are different, and that shows in the character.

This is the positive part of the calculation — what a person starts from and can lean on, not a list of their limitations.
