The seventh arcanum is about governing oneself. Such a person is given strong impulses that pull in different directions, and their task is to hold them all in one harness.

As long as they are busy with that, they are collected and effective: able to move in the chosen direction for a long time and to obtain what they set out to obtain. The moment they let go, they are pulled apart.

Hence an outward trait as well: the seventh arcanum needs movement and needs a goal ahead of it. In stillness it fades faster than the rest.

The weak point is impatience with slow people. They rarely understand why it should be hard for others simply to get up and go.

Day arcanum — character

Day arcanum = DT

The day of birth is the main part of the date. It is responsible for character and for what childhood was like, and along with that — for the past incarnation and for what a person brings out of it: inclinations, a craft, an attitude to work.

It is read as a general frame — much the way a zodiac sign is read in astrology: it describes a tendency, not the whole person. Character is made up of many numbers, and no one of them cancels out the rest.

The same arcanum can come from different days: for those born on the 1st and on the 23rd it coincides (23 − 22 = 1), but their ruling planets are different, and that shows in the character.

This is the positive part of the calculation — what a person starts from and can lean on, not a list of their limitations.
