The sixth arcanum gives a taste for life. Such a person knows how to take pleasure in simple things and passes it on to others: they are easy company and no one is in a hurry to leave.

The arcanum is bound up with relationships, but it does not oblige anyone to have a family. It is more accurate to put it another way: relationships are what the six learns all its life and where it grows up. Its early unions rarely turn out to be its last.

The strength is the ability to choose and not to regret what was chosen. The weakness is the difficulty of refusing: the sixth arcanum finds it hard to say "no" and agrees to things it did not want.

It comes into its own best where there is someone to be glad along with it.

Day arcanum — character

Day arcanum = DT

The day of birth is the main part of the date. It is responsible for character and for what childhood was like, and along with that — for the past incarnation and for what a person brings out of it: inclinations, a craft, an attitude to work.

It is read as a general frame — much the way a zodiac sign is read in astrology: it describes a tendency, not the whole person. Character is made up of many numbers, and no one of them cancels out the rest.

The same arcanum can come from different days: for those born on the 1st and on the 23rd it coincides (23 − 22 = 1), but their ruling planets are different, and that shows in the character.

This is the positive part of the calculation — what a person starts from and can lean on, not a list of their limitations.
