The ninth arcanum produces a person who has felt slightly to one side since childhood. Not an outcast — simply separate, and usually unable to explain why.

Solitude here is not a punishment but a working condition: they do their own work better alone and recover in quiet. Company tires them faster than it is usual to admit.

The strength is self-sufficiency and the ability to keep going for a long time without support. Depth comes from the same source: they have had time to think.

The weakness is the difficulty of asking. The ninth arcanum drives itself to its limit before it turns to anyone for help, and often it is late by then.

Day arcanum — character

Day arcanum = DT

The day of birth is the main part of the date. It is responsible for character and for what childhood was like, and along with that — for the past incarnation and for what a person brings out of it: inclinations, a craft, an attitude to work.

It is read as a general frame — much the way a zodiac sign is read in astrology: it describes a tendency, not the whole person. Character is made up of many numbers, and no one of them cancels out the rest.

The same arcanum can come from different days: for those born on the 1st and on the 23rd it coincides (23 − 22 = 1), but their ruling planets are different, and that shows in the character.

This is the positive part of the calculation — what a person starts from and can lean on, not a list of their limitations.
