August is named after a ruler who gathered the laws into a single code — and the system holds justice to be the main content of this month.
The August task is to set justice right. The person comes into a lineage where somebody was judged wrongly: short-changed in a division, accused without guilt, struck out for something that never happened.
They recognise it from themselves — from a sharpened sense of what is unjust and from the fact that they cannot walk past somebody else's unfair decision even where it does not concern them.
The task calls for judging fairly, not for avenging one's own. The difference is a matter of principle: restoring justice ends the story, revenge continues it.
It is fulfilled when double standards stop operating in the lineage and everybody is judged the same way — starting with the person themselves.
