The September task is to bring out what the lineage has been gathering for generations. A grain of it came here from every ancestor: somebody's ear for music, somebody's precision, somebody's gift for languages or for work with the hands.
That is why September people are gifted in many directions at once and often cannot work out what to take up: there are more abilities than there is time, and none of them looks like the main one.
This is exactly where the difficulty of the task lies. A giftedness that has not been carried to a real level in anything remains an unfulfilled task — not an excuse.
It is fulfilled when the person has chosen one or two directions and carried them through to genuine mastery. That is precisely what the lineage was gathering for.
