The obstacle shows up as an inability to tolerate calm. As soon as life settles down, the person feels hemmed in, and breaks something — a job, a relationship, an established order.
They explain this as growth, but the mark of it is different: the changes here do not improve anything, they merely shift it.
What it blocks is the capacity for real transformation. Behind this point is someone who can carry a change through to the end and leave something better behind it; but the obstacle trades that for a succession of demolitions.
What to do: before breaking anything, answer what will stand in its place. If there is no answer, it is the obstacle and not a decision.
