The obstacle shows up as a sense of being exceptional. The person feels cleverer, more capable and more deserving than those around them — and at the same time finds no place anywhere.
One follows from the other: someone who is above everyone belongs to no one. Hence the endless changing of places, circles and countries in search of a setting that will finally fit.
What it blocks is the ability to connect. Behind this point is a person who has been given the gift of being at home in any setting and of joining what is unjoined; the sense of exception closes the entrance to every one of them.
What to do: spend some time as an equal. Enter a setting not as the best but as one of the rest — and stay in it longer than you want to.
