The obstacle shows up as a mismatch between the way a person presents themselves and the way they are. Naivety, lightness, "I don't know anything about that" — while in fact they see what is coming and work things out better than most.
This is not always calculation. More often it is habit: it is easier that way, and less is expected of them.
What it blocks is the ability to be yourself at full size. Behind this point is a person for whom almost everything is within reach, but behind the role of the simpleton none of it is visible, and no opportunities are offered to them.
What to do: show that you understand. Just once, stop pretending in the place where pretending has become the habit — and see what changes.
