The obstacle shows up as an inability to acknowledge that anyone else is better. Not envy — an unwillingness to accept that someone knows or can do more, and an inward argument with every authority.

What it blocks is the ability to learn from those who are older and further along. Behind this point is a person who needs a mentor and who in time becomes a mentor themselves; a dislike of the strong shuts both roles off from them.

What to do: find at least one person you are willing to learn from, and let them be better than you in their field.

A sign that it is receding: someone else's success stops demanding an inward objection from you.

Obstacle point

Obstacle point = DT + MT

The obstacle point is built differently from the other calculations, and that is important to understand before reading its interpretation.

In this system TP is the entrance to the best part of a person's karma: behind it stand their real talent and their strongest character trait. But the approach to it is blocked — by doubt, by the fear of doing it wrong, by the sense that in this particular matter one is weaker than others. That is exactly why a step that would come easily goes untaken for years.

Hence the main point: **the trait that TP names is not characteristic of the person.** It is not a diagnosis and not a defect, but an obstruction placed in front of a strength. If, on reading the interpretation, you felt stung — that is by design: recognition is itself the first step.

The task is not to fight yourself, but to see this obstruction and stop believing it. By this logic, what opens up behind it is the very thing the calculation is made for.
