The eleventh arcanum is the most deceptive of them all. On the outside, a soft, friendly, smiling person; on the inside, someone who cannot be shifted.

The strength here lies not in pressure but in the capacity to hold out. Such a person does not argue and does not push, they simply do not give way — and in the end they turn out to be stronger than those who made the noise.

The same thing makes them a good negotiator and a good defender: they get what they want without conflict, and the other side usually understands this afterwards.

The weak point is that people take the softness for pliancy and cross the line. The eleventh arcanum has to mark that line out in words, because nobody reads it from appearances.

Day arcanum — character

Day arcanum = DT

The day of birth is the main part of the date. It is responsible for character and for what childhood was like, and along with that — for the past incarnation and for what a person brings out of it: inclinations, a craft, an attitude to work.

It is read as a general frame — much the way a zodiac sign is read in astrology: it describes a tendency, not the whole person. Character is made up of many numbers, and no one of them cancels out the rest.

The same arcanum can come from different days: for those born on the 1st and on the 23rd it coincides (23 − 22 = 1), but their ruling planets are different, and that shows in the character.

This is the positive part of the calculation — what a person starts from and can lean on, not a list of their limitations.
